June 21 was declared as the International Day of Yoga by the United Nations General Assembly on Day of December 11, 2014 and over 195 countries are participated on a YOGA DAY

Narendr Modi says about Yoga-"Yoga is an invaluable gift of
India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and
action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic
approach to health and well-being."
and another words are that-" It is not about exercise but to discover the
sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our
lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change.
Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day"
The resolution on the ‘International Day of Yoga’ was introduced by India’s
ambassador to UN Ashoke Mukerji and had 195 nations are joining as a
co-sponsors and the highest number ever for any general assembly
resolution.
